In the Spring was the 88th Legislative session and our Executive Director and Education Division Lead went to the Capital to speak on HB 900. Please WATCH here. Over the summer, we have been building task forces in each district and connecting with the citizens who are concerned about the sexually explicit books in our public school libraries. As the fall school year of 2023 kicked off, Collin CDF has been busy holding book audits, hosting speakers to educate citizens, and holding school boards accountable adhering to HB900 and removing the inappropriate material.
