Board of County Commissioners Meeting

On November 1st the Polk County Planning Commission voted 4 to 3 to send LDCT-2023-16 to the Board of County Commissioners to shut down any public comments for certain types of new developments in Polk County. The vote will be on December 5th, 2024, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Please attend.

Voting to remove public comment: Rennie Heath (Chair) David Dalton (Secretary) Mike Hickman Tommy Addison

Voting against taking away public comment: Brooke Agnini Angelia Sims Michael Schmidt

The Board of County Commissioners board meetings are held every first and third Tuesday of every month in the County Commission Boardroom on the first floor of the County Administration Building, 330 W. Church St., Bartow. Meeting is located in the County Commission Boardroom on the First Floor. December 5th, 2024, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
