Florida School Accountability Reports (fldoe.org)
There are many, many schools elsewhere in Florida that score in eighties and nineties while all but one of our schools are in the sixties and seventies. We continue to celebrate “A” rated schools in Nassau while the actual scores indicate “C”, “D” ratings based on the “old fashion” grading system. Now, everyone gets a trophy.
Should we be proud that our graduation rates are solidly in the 90s? Something does not compute.
Parents should be asking questions. Why are students being passed with subpar performance? Are we supposed to be proud of our “A” rated school system?
