Hearings in June – this week and next week
School District/CDF Textbook Objection Hearing – Thursday, 6:30 PM, June 13

At the 1201 Atlantic Avenue, School District Office – Will be called during the School Board meeting
Residents may have an opportunity to comment on the testimony and recommendation before the board
CDF has objected to the content of a Savvas Social Studies book and presented extensive evidence proving inclusion of historic inaccuracies, scientifically unproven/dis-proven materials, Marxist concepts, politically slanted materials, Social Emotional Learning (SEL) concepts, atheism, and online dynamic integrated interactive materials. After an hour and a half of testimony and 3 weeks of deliberation, the School Board is scheduled to vote on Thursday on whether to reject the textbook or keep and subject Nassau students to woke ideologies.
CDF Public Records Lawsuit with School District – Tuesday, 10:00 AM, June 18

Hear legal arguments and testimony regarding the Nassau School District’s refusal to disclose Social Emotional Learning (SEL) based mental health curriculum being presented to school children.

Elections – time to get involved!

- Our Supervisor of Elections updated the website to show all candidates running click here
- Get your church registered to vote – we will register voters on a Sunday or Wednesday in person, online voter registration here
- Call the candidates and talk to them
- Support good candidates who share your values
- Sign up as election poll watcher – very flexible to simply visit polling places to watch
- Help Nassau CDF with candidate questionnaires – know where candidates stand
- Talk to your Pastor about your church getting active in education Biblical engagement in civics
