2024 Nassau County Election Results

The results are in on the 2024 General Election.  The big ones are that Trump won presidency (73% in Nassau) and Amendments 3 & 4 were defeated in Florida with a lot of help from Nassau with only 40% support locally.  These were big races/issues and solid results with an 85.5% turnout locally.  Thank you Nassau County for voting!  Read below to hear the story you may not have heard.

The City of Fernandina Beach experienced a sweep by the Minshew pride ticket – Minshew, Tuten, Poynter and Antun.  This ticket vilified incumbents Bean, Sturges and Ayscue with a bioethanol issue, ethics complaints and false accusations that was a disguised democratic operation to unseat the incumbent seats.  In fact, it is similar to the Trump lawsuits which all go away after the election just like the bioethanol lawsuit went away.  Noone wants bioethanol in our back yard so it made for a great wedge issue.  Many city residents were duped with lies.

The Sturges/Minshew race was so close (20 votes) that recounts are required.  Stay tuned.

Amendment 4 which would have gutted any abortion protection law failed.  This attempted amendment exposed the problems with the Florida Constitutional Amendment process.  In this case, the ACLU, Planned Parenthood and George Soros came to Florida with $110 million dollars to change our state.  Signatures were gathered through deception to get it on the ballot.  Advertising lied about current laws to scare and deceive voters into approving it.  Google searches presented the advertising lies as top search picks to deceive voters burying the truthful search results.  Social media lit up and liberals echoed the lies about non-existent problems with current abortion laws and lies about how great the Amendment was.  So many lies.  The advocates wanted to say “Florida loves abortion”.  NOT SO.

Christian groups, right to life teams and churches around the state of Florida circled the wagons to protect human life – especially those who are unable to protect themselves.  Churches put up small yard signs, big yard signs and even banners against Amendment 4.   People put signs in their yards, stickers on their cars, and handed out flyers and knocked on doors.  Pastors spoke strongly from the pulpit; Sunday school teachers spoke out with the facts while friends and neighbors talked about it around the table.  No on 4 signs were stolen across the state.  We even have local video of the 3rd sign stolen from one location.

Amendment 3 was a similar deception.  The Trulieve business along with Morgan and Morgan funded an Amendment to create a monopoly for them in the marijuana business.  They would have been billionaires.  That is why they spent upwards of $100 million to support this amendment.  Thankfully, it was defeated also.

The Opportunity

The Amendment 4 actions by our churches made a huge difference in Nassau County and for results around the state of Florida.  This was a demonstration of the power of pastors, churches and congregations who speak out for and protect Christian values, children and families.  This was a great demonstration of the power of God when his people hear his voice, repent, pray and take action.

Unfortunately, the same attention was not given to the City Commission races.  The Minshew pride ticket of candidates swept their way into the Fernandina Beach City commission.  This was a clear choice between two different philosophies.  The Minshew pride ticket was comprised of radical, leftist, progressive candidates supporting LGBTQIA++, pride parades, pride festivals in our city park, reading of pride and transgender proclamations, supporting obscene books in our schools, supporting transgender surgeries for children, supporting boys in girls’ sports/bathrooms/locker rooms, promoting man-made climate change theories and opposing Christian anything in our schools.

Versus the Christian, conservative candidates who reduced taxes, reduced regulation, protected family values and protected our local community culture and values.  The choice was clear, but the Minshew pride ticket won.  We all need to reflect on why that happened and what we should do about it.

Our churches could have turned this election.  Our pastors and churches can get more involved to change the next election starting today!  Now is the time to identify candidates for the next cycle, educate them, prepare them and eventually vote for them.  Pastors, churches and congregations should not stand by idly and let the woke minority run our city.  Let’s support candidates that represent our Christian values before it is too late.

Our most active pastors and congregations are those who have attended a Biblical Citizenship training class through the Patriot Academy.  Once they heard that message, they KNEW what is wrong, what they should do and how to do it.  If you are interested in scheduling an 8-week Biblical Citizenship class at your church, you can signup online.  If you have questions, call Jack Knocke 470-295-4365 or send an email to jknocke@ccdfusa.com .  Generous partners will sponsor a pizza party for the first class and will supply FREE handbooks for the classes – no cost for anything.

The Sturges persecution

The team of democrat operatives have been seeking to smear David Sturges in order to clear the path for the election of former Fernandina Beach Pride President, Genece Minshew.  Their campaign has been supported by the local News Leader and the Fernandina Beach Observer run by disgraced former Mayor Mike Lednovich.  Lednovich has sought to undermine conservative commissioners who took over the formerly liberal leaning city commission in 2022.  Below are just some of the stories.  We need to be aware to separate propaganda from truth.
