UPDATE October 21, 2024 – Get out the vote!
Summary: This message is not necessarily just for you. It is super important that you share this with your friends and family. People are being mislead about Amendment 4. There ARE exclusions in the current law for rape, incest and the life of the mother. Amendment 4 is BAD and should be a NO vote.
Amendment 4 is on the November 5th ballot. The quick answer is to VOTE NO ON 4 – but you need to understand why. Below are some explanations and context to explain to your friends. Early voting is heavy in other counties already.
Amendment 4 is a Florida Constitutional Amendment stopping any law against abortion in Florida – cancelling existing laws and preventing new laws. Cancels parental permission for minors to have an abortion. Allows ANY medical provider to provide abortion procedures. This amendment enables abortion up until birth for any reason.
Those who want to pass this horrible legislation are lying about the restrictions in existing laws. Beware of the existing Florida law has many exceptions including incest, rape, human trafficking, or risk of the life of the mother. (FL Statute 390.0111)
The team that promoted this legislation is primarily from out of state with funding from ACLU, Soros’ Open Society, Planned Parenthood and others. This amendment is not supporting Florida families. It is a stunt to undermine Florida values.

In Jim Garlow’s book REVERSED, he speaks of a compelling rape & adoption story. The story is about a 14-year-old girl who was raped by two high school seniors. She placed the baby up for adoption. The baby girl was adopted by Jim Garlow and his wife Carol. At age 36, the baby met her birth mother. Her mother was brave and sacrificial. Baby was saved. Jim & Carol raised a wonderful woman of God. What the enemy meant for evil, God has turned for good (Genesis 50:20). Saving every baby will bring glory to God!

Many VOTE NO ON 4 signs and banners have been put in yards and churches in Nassau and surrounding counties. We are blessed that so many churches have put signs and banners up to inform voters. Many signs have been stolen, but that is to be expected. If you see a sign being removed, take pictures and report it to the police/sheriff.

Amendment 3 – not what it seems. For those with a question about Amendment 3, know that it is a financial play by Trulieve. Trulieve has invested $70 million to pass this amendment that creates a monopoly for Trulieve. Personal growth is prohibited and use of marijuana is heavily regulated giving Trulieve exclusive control over weed. Having a recreational marijuana card will prohibit gun ownership.
